Fifties Fair at Rose Seidler House
Reliving the 1950’s
Save the date and start preparing! Sunday August 23 is the annual Fifties Fair at Rose Seidler House in Wahroonga. A favourite event on the Sydney Living Museums calendar, the one-day celebration is all about getting into the swing of the fabulous Fifties.
Come for the classic car show and vintage clothes markets, live music and dancing, best dressed competition, and a day of gourmet grazing in the grounds of iconic Rose Seidler House – Harry Seidler’s first built house in Sydney. Musically, the Hi-Boys – fresh from their US tour – will be joined by DJs Limpin’ Jimmy & the Swingin’ Kitten, while Swingtime Australia will be giving rock n’ roll dancing demonstrations. Food wise, the line up includes Porteño, Eathouse Diner, Daisy’s Milkbar, Madame Pop and AllPress Espresso.
Buy tickets here from $35–$49; children 5 or under free.
